We were very excited to have several wonderful speakers join forces with our young ladies from Smithtown HS East and HS West as part of the Power Panel for our event Stronger, Smarter & Bolder on Friday March 25th.  This event was attended by over 40 students from our Career Planning and Career Jumpstart classes which was accomplished via a ZOOM platform. Although we're very sad that we could not hold this event in person, we look forward to 2023 when we can hopefully go back to a Brunch format live and at our school building!

This event is sponsored and organized by the Women's Connection Committee of the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board.  We'd like to thank Chairs Kris Chayes, Jennifer O'Brien, Karen Arthus & their committee members for their help organizing this event & providing a SWAG BAG to the students with snacks and other goodies.

The speakers for this event were an amazing group of ladies from various industries. Four of our speakers were Alumni of Smithtown HS and spoke how their classes and activities helped shape them into the successful people they are today. They also stressed the importance of personal health & wellness, financial literacy and balancing work and life to our students. These are lessons that will help them to become Stronger, Smarter and Bolder!
