Work Experience/Community Service Committee

Program Value:

  • Continue to provide community service opportunities for Smithtown students in a timely manner, encouraging participation on the Youth Bureau Board.

  • Build a strong network with all Smithtown Chamber of Commerce's to help foster employment opportunities for both Smithtown businesses and Smithtown students.

Program Value:

STEM / Robotics Committee

Program Value:

  • To promote STEM Careers in Technology through the Smithtown Robotics Club/Team. 

  • To partner with IAB members to help enrich the STEM/Robotics programs through participating in mentorship programs, sponsorships and our annual STEM Trade Fair.

  • To inspires Smithtown students to pursue STEM Career Pathways

Post Secondary Education Committee

Program Value:

To bring an awareness of post-secondary opportunities that are available on Long Island in terms of colleges/universities and trade schools. To organize and plan for events that connect students to programs here on Long Island.  To engage Long Island universities/colleges and trade schools in our programs to work with Smithtown students. To provide opportunities for virtual tours and on site campus tours to all of our Smithtown students. To provide scholarship opportunities to our Smithtown students.

Committee Partners:
NYIT, Hofstra, Long Island University, Adelphi, SUNY Farmingdale, Molly College, Hunter Business School, School of Aviation, Mercy College, St. Joseph's College, St. John’s University, Suffolk Community College and Stonybrook University.
